This article discusses the use of synchronous instruction in bridging the student populations of two campuses at the University of Central Florida. The study found that while synchronous instruction allowed for increased access to lectures and recordings, it also presented challenges such as decreased connection to students and increased workload for faculty. Issues with technology and training were also identified, highlighting the need for additional support and preparation for synchronous instruction. The study suggests that a balance between virtual and face-to-face instruction may be necessary to address these concerns. [Extracted from the article] |
