Abstrakt: This article discusses a rare case of pediatric acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) presenting as a retro-orbital mass in a 4-year-old boy. The patient was diagnosed with B-ALL and underwent treatment according to the BFM 2002 protocol, achieving remission with no evidence of relapse after 20 months. The document also provides information on the differential diagnosis and management strategies for orbital/retro-orbital tumors in pediatric patients, emphasizing the importance of peripheral smear and bone marrow examinations to exclude underlying leukemia. The prognosis for B-LBL with TCF3::PBX1 gene rearrangement is usually intermediate to poor, but certain factors can have a positive impact on prognosis. [Extracted from the article]
