Abstrakt: A recent study conducted at University College Hospital in Ibadan, Nigeria, focused on desmoid tumors (DTs), which are rare and locally aggressive tumors. The study presented a case report of a 32-year-old female with two rapidly growing anterior abdominal wall (AAW) masses. The patient underwent surgical resection of the masses using an "abdominoplasty" technique and reconstruction of the defect with grafts and mesh. The study highlights the challenges and considerations associated with surgical resection of large AAW DTs in a low- and middle-income country. The patient is scheduled for adjuvant radiotherapy and desires future pregnancies. [Extracted from the article]
