| Abstrakt: | A recent study conducted by researchers at Huazhong University of Science and Technology in Wuhan, China, explored the relationship between health literacy and self-management among young and middle-aged hypertensive patients in rural China. The study found that individuals with good health literacy were more likely to effectively manage their health. The researchers also identified illness perception and self-efficacy as parallel mediators in the association between health literacy and self-management.
