Abstrakt:	A report from the Hunan University of Chinese Medicine in China discusses the changing epidemiology of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) in children and adolescents. The study used aggregated data from the Global Burden of Disease Study 2019 to estimate the prevalence and incidence of IBD between 1990 and 2019. The research found that the incidence and prevalence of IBD among children and adolescents have been highest in high-income regions, with significant increases in East Asia and high-income Asia Pacific.
