Abstrakt: Researchers at A.T. Still University of Health Sciences in Mesa, Arizona have conducted a study on improving inadequate maxillary incisor display in cases of vertical maxillary deficiency. The study found that skeletal anchorage and orthodontic extrusion techniques were successful in enhancing the visibility of the maxillary incisors and improving facial esthetics. The treatment resulted in optimal occlusion, improved facial profile, increased lip fullness, and a more pleasant smile. The study also concluded that the total arch extrusion technique was stable in improving maxillary incisor display even after two years of retention. [Extracted from the article]
