Abstrakt: A recent study conducted by researchers at Tehran University of Medical Sciences in Iran investigated the prevalence of short stature in patients with thalassemia major. The study found that 32% of patients had short stature, which can lead to mental and social problems. The risk of short stature increased with age, with patients aged 10-11 and 27 years and older being at the highest risk.
