Jana Babatunde-Bey, an Overbrook veteran, and J. Bey Entertainment are set to produce the upcoming feature film CURTSY, which focuses on the world of African American debutantes. The film aims to provide a rare depiction of modern African American Cotillions, which are sponsored by prestigious Black organizations in the United States. The project will be directed by Golden Globe and Emmy Award-winner Debbie Allen and written by Teryl Warren.
