Abstrakt: This article examines the long-term outcomes of patients with severe pulmonary hypertension (PH) who undergo transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI). The study analyzed data from 3610 patients who underwent TAVI, with 456 patients identified as having severe PH. The results showed that patients with severe PH had distinct baseline characteristics and higher rates of adverse events, including acute kidney injury, major bleeding, and higher mortality rates. The presence of severe PH was also associated with increased rates of complications such as bleeding, pacemaker implantation, and renal failure. [Extracted from the article]
