Abstrakt: The IMPACT registry is a study that aims to assess the durability and hemodynamics of a new bioprosthesis used in surgical aortic valve replacement (SAVR) in patients with various comorbidities. The registry enrolled 556 patients from 21 sites in Europe, with the majority having hypertension and coronary artery disease. The study found that the new bioprosthesis had satisfactory performance with stable hemodynamics and no cases of valve thrombosis or severe structural valve deterioration (SVD) at the one-year follow-up. The registry will continue to follow up with the patients for up to five years. [Extracted from the article]
