In today's tremendously changing business environment, the strategic alignment of employees with their designated workplace roles is a vital determinant of economic sustainability. The new generation of potential employees without economic education, career orientation, and organizational or state support for employment will result in a mismatch of skills, interests, and certain roles of employees, and will be a real challenge for individual performance and collective. This comprehensive research explains the state of (lack of) information and knowledge of the new generation of students regarding real economic terms and prospects. The paper will address the difficulties of exploring career opportunities, the conditions offered to young people to start a business, their adaptation to the labor market, as well as the reasons for undertaking these initiatives. The paper highlights the role of Economic Education (EE) in enhancing productivity, income, and employment opportunities and also the proactive role of management in creating a supportive work environment, encouraging the search for different career paths. This article aims to create comprehensive initiatives from state policy, academic programs, and businesses to support employment, economic growth, and the prevention of migration. Through empirical research and various theoretical approaches, we aim to analyze the effect of economic education on youth empowerment and employment in North Macedonia. The poll was carried out in October and November of 2023 online by the focus group of 15-29-year-olds in North Macedonia. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
