Abstrakt: The article discusses the use of social media in anaesthesia education. It explains that social media platforms, such as Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp, blogs, wikis, and YouTube, have become popular tools for learning and collaboration in the medical field. These platforms offer advantages such as easy accessibility to learning resources, global outreach, collaboration and networking opportunities, and increased visibility for journals. However, there are concerns about the reliability of information, privacy issues, and the potential for distractions. The article suggests that while social media can be a valuable educational tool, more research is needed to determine its impact on educational outcomes and its alignment with educational theory.
