This article discusses a case study of a 15-year-old girl who initially presented with pain in her right hip. After undergoing multiple imaging tests and biopsies, it was discovered that she had Ewing's sarcoma (ES), a rare form of bone cancer. The case is considered unusual due to the initial misdiagnosis of chronic recurrent multifocal osteomyelitis (CRMO), which has similar clinical features. The article emphasizes the importance of a multidisciplinary approach and the need for radiologists to be familiar with the diagnosis of ES. [Extracted from the article] |
