Abstrakt: The provision of drinking water for the community plays a significant role in improving public/environmental health. Clean water is used for drinking, bathing, and washing. Consumed drinking water can be polluted, and contamination can occur from the raw water source or during processing. To check the quality of a water sample, we can take an example and test it in the laboratory. This, of course, takes a long time and could be more efficient. Therefore, this study aims to design and build a water quality monitoring system based on the Internet of Things so that it can get data faster in real time and accurately. The method used in this research is the experimental method, namely by designing the tool's build, installing the equipment, making the program, and conducting a trial program to be applied to the device to get the desired performance. pH, ORP, DO, and EC sensors are used to measure the quality of PDAM water. The controller used is Raspberry Pi. Water sampling uses a sensor probe that can be immersed directly into the water at the sample point to be measured. Data from sensors is transmitted simultaneously to the Raspberry Pi. The Raspberry Pi program is designed with the JavaScript programming language. Furthermore, the sensor data will be sent to the cloud via Raspberry Pi using the MQTT protocol to monitor drinking water quality data remotely via a smartphone connected to the internet network.
