Abstrakt: A recent study conducted at Government Dental College in Chhattisgarh, India, has reported on a rare case of peripheral odontogenic myxoma (POM) involving the orbital and zygoma region. The patient, a 16-year-old male, presented with a painless swelling in his left infratemporal region. The tumor was diagnosed as POM and was successfully removed through surgery, with no recurrence observed during the 2.5-year follow-up period. This case is significant as it represents only the second reported instance of POM in the infratemporal region and the first reported case of myxoma extending into the zygomatic region and lateral wall of the orbit.
