A study conducted by researchers at Universidade Estadual de Maringa explores the challenges faced by healthcare professionals in emergency situations when relying on patient-provided data. To address this issue, the researchers developed a prototype for an application that allows patients to input essential information such as personal data, allergies, pre-existing diseases, and medication use. The prototype was developed using Lean and Scrum methodologies and was evaluated positively by healthcare professionals, with 96.2% expressing a willingness to use the application.
