Abstrakt: A new report from Technical University Dresden (TU Dresden) in Germany explores an alternative diagnostic method for measuring postural control in individuals with lower back pain. The study involved 188 subjects and found that assessing postural control in a seated position, combined with an AI-supported evaluation, could be an effective way to quantify neuromuscular control. The research also identified a significant link between pain and gender, as well as pain and height. The study concludes that using an AI algorithm, the data set can be correctly differentiated between individuals with low back pain and healthy subjects with an 81% probability.
