A systematic review conducted by researchers at the University of West Attica in Greece examined the effect of boxing exercises on the functionality and quality of life of individuals with Parkinson's disease (PD). The review included three studies that assessed disease severity, mobility, physical activity, balance, and quality of life. The findings showed statistically significant improvements in balance and quality of life after implementing boxing training. However, the results were conflicting for certain functionality variables, indicating the need for further research on the effectiveness of boxing training for individuals with Parkinson's disease.
