The TeMA Journal of Land Use Mobility and Environment focuses on the integration of urban transformation studies and mobility governance for environmental sustainability. The 2024 volume addresses various challenges faced by cities in the 21st century, including global warming, an aging population, energy consumption reduction, immigration flows, land use optimization, and technological innovation. The articles cover topics such as land use changes in coastal wetlands in Sri Lanka, gender analysis of urban mobility behaviors in Tunisia, sustainable development and the role of new public spaces, spatial attractiveness for industrial placement, planning the transition of cities, and the cost of shopping in physical and virtual spaces.
