Abstrakt: This article presents a study on oromaxillofacial traumas at "SF. Spiridon" Hospital in Ia¿i, Romania. The study examines the forensic aspects of these traumas in relation to demographic factors such as age, gender, and residence. The results show that males had a higher number of traumatic injuries, with assault being the main cause. Mandibular fractures were the most common type of injury, followed by maxillary fractures. Most injuries required surgical treatment and had a favorable outcome. The article highlights the global significance of maxillofacial trauma and the need for prevention strategies, particularly in relation to road safety and interpersonal violence.
