The study examined 31 patients and found that common dental issues included malocclusion, facial dysmorphism, anomalies in tooth shape and structure, mandibular hypoplasia, and pigmentation on the mucous membranes. The authors recommend that parents receive health education and that individuals with genetic diseases have improved access to dental treatments in order to promote better oral health. The article also highlights the oral health issues associated with genetic disorders like Down syndrome, Prader Willi syndrome, and dwarfism, emphasizing the importance of health education for parents and the need for screening strategies, education programs, and subsidized dental treatments for patients with these conditions.
