Abstrakt: This article discusses a study on the mechanical assessment of metal structures in dental prostheses that were repaired using laser welding and plasma welding. The study found that both methods can be used for repairs, but laser welding offers higher mechanical strength compared to plasma welding. Factors such as surface preparation, wire diameter, and the mechanical properties of the alloy used also influence the success of the repairs. The article concludes that laser welding is a viable option for repairing metal frameworks in dental prostheses, despite the samples fracturing under high mechanical loads.
