Falls City track and field athletes have broken records and earned medals at the State track meet in Austin. Cayla Albers became a two-time State champion in shot put, while the Beaverettes 4x100-meter relay team and Jacob Swierc also received bronze medals. The Beaverettes 4x200-meter relay team set a State record and the Beavers 4x400-meter relay team also received bronze medals. Stockdale High School athletes also performed well at the State track meet, with Taylor Warrick winning a gold medal and Camden Derricoatte receiving a silver medal.
