Abstrakt: This article provides an ethnobotanical study conducted in the Chott El Gharbi region of Western Algeria, focusing on the therapeutic uses of Artemisia herba alba, a plant commonly used in herbal therapy. The study found that the leaves of the plant are the most commonly used part, and the decoction method is the most frequent method of preparation. The article also highlights the biological characteristics of the plant, including its rich secondary metabolites and the presence of artemisinin, which is used in malaria treatment.
