This article discusses a study on medication adherence among patients with type 2 diabetes in Cairo. The study found that 65.6% of participants had good adherence to their medications. Factors such as regular monitoring of blood glucose levels, follow-up visits, and family support were associated with better adherence. The study also compared two measurement tools for adherence and found a strong negative correlation between them.
