A study conducted by researchers at the University of Ilorin in Nigeria examined the effect of nursing intervention on women's knowledge about pregnancy-related problems and their utilization of obstetrics care services in Edu, Nigeria. The study used a pre-test post-test control design and found that nursing health education intervention had a positive effect on women's knowledge about pregnancy problems. However, it had little effect on their willingness to utilize obstetrics care services. The researchers recommended that health education programs be intensified to improve women's knowledge and encourage the use of obstetric care services in the community.
