Abstrakt: | A recent study conducted at the National Cancer Centre Singapore explored the use of machine learning algorithms to predict the risk of breast cancer development in women. The researchers proposed a novel deep learning system that utilized sequential past mammograms instead of random studies for training the AI model. The study found that using sequential past mammograms improved the accuracy of breast cancer risk prediction compared to using random mammograms. This research has the potential to enhance other AI risk prediction models and may be useful in combination with traditional breast cancer clinical risk factors. Further validation studies are needed to confirm these findings. [Extracted from the article] |
