A recent study conducted at RSI Sakinah Mojokerto in Indonesia examined the factors influencing non-adherence to fluid restriction among patients undergoing hemodialysis. The study found that 37% of patients were non-adherent to fluid restriction, while 63% were adherent. Risk factors for non-adherence included the Health Belief Model, history of disease, and length of time undergoing hemodialysis. The researchers concluded that healthcare providers should consider patients' adherence to fluid restrictions when providing nursing care.
