Abstrakt: A new report from the Strategic Support Force Medical Center presents research on the efficacy of bracing in the treatment of progressive early-onset scoliosis. The study compared two groups of patients, one with congenital scoliosis and one with idiopathic scoliosis, and analyzed the success and failure cases. The results showed that bracing is an effective nonsurgical alternative to casting for patients with progressive early-onset scoliosis, and it can delay the need for surgery. The study also found that patients with idiopathic scoliosis tended to have better results in correcting the main Cobb angle compared to those with congenital scoliosis. [Extracted from the article]
