A recent study conducted by researchers from Isfahan University of Medical Sciences in Iran explored the efficacy of an oral solution containing five herbal extracts in the treatment of urolithiasis, a condition characterized by the formation of urinary stones. The study involved a randomized, single-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial with participants taking either the herbal solution or a placebo for four weeks. The results showed that the herbal solution led to a reduction in stone size and an increased rate of stone expulsion compared to the placebo. This research suggests that oral consumption of the herbal solution may be beneficial for patients with urolithiasis. [Extracted from the article] |
