Researchers at the University of Texas Dallas have published a report on the use of light-sheet microscopy (LSM) to study the three-dimensional structure of the heart in mouse models. The LSM technique, combined with tissue clearing methods, allows for the visualization of deep structures and comprehensive examination of the myocardium. This research has potential implications for understanding cardiac morphogenesis and remodeling. The study was funded by the National Institutes of Health and the UT Dallas STARS program.
