A recent study conducted by Jiangnan University in Wuxi, China explores the relationship between food safety and human health. The study focuses on the behavior strategies of different subjects within the food supply chain, such as food suppliers, manufacturers, and consumers, and how these strategies impact the quality investment in food production. The results suggest that the reputation mechanism and market contracts among supply chain subjects, as well as the costs of quality investment and participation in governance, play significant roles in determining behavior strategies. The study provides policy recommendations for preventing and controlling food safety risks. [Extracted from the article] |
