In our analysis, the medicinal plants which are having antiaging activity are retrieved and exploring the phytoconstituents. We are investigating the phytoconstituents and their binding affinity with human Telomerase Reverse Transcriptase gene (hTERT) and sirtuin receptor. The antiaging phytoconstituents are screened for molecular docking. The physicochemical properties of the compounds are identified based on the Lipinski's rule and the drug likeliness and absorption are predicted. Based on these investigations, three medicinal herbs such as Vitis vinifera L, Punica granatum and Emblica officinalis are screened for further analysis, which is having promising antiaging properties due to the presence of polyphenols. The fruits were extracted with three different solvents and phytochemical studies were performed to identify the chemical constituents. The compounds are screened for molecular docking with the hTERT gene and sirutunin receptor which are responsible for antiaging. Auto Dock 4.2 was used to identify the interaction between the receptor and ligand. From these results, we observed that the compound Resveratrol (3,5,42 -trihydroxy-trans-stilbene) has docked effectively and shows highest binding affinity with hTERT gene and sirtunin. Finally, we concluded that the compound resveratrol from Vitis vinifera shows good binding affinity and act as a potential antiaging compound. These investigations would help us to perform insilico studies on resveratrol in future. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
