The Academy of Dentistry for Persons with Disabilities (ADPD) is an organization that aims to improve special care dentistry practice at individual and community levels. The ADPD Board, led by President Dr. David Fray and President-Elect Dr. Hakan Tuncer, is addressing important issues such as dental care for persons with disabilities, fellowship programs, insurance coverage, and interprofessional partnerships. They are also focused on improving education, research, and communication within the special care dentistry community.
