Abstrakt: This article, published in the Anatolian Journal of General Medical Research, discusses a case report of prostate cancer metastasis to the occipital bone. Prostate cancer typically metastasizes to the pelvic lymph nodes and axial skeleton, making metastasis to the occipital bone rare. The article highlights the use of 68Ga-PSMA PET/CT scanning, which has been shown to be more sensitive than conventional imaging techniques in detecting prostate cancer. The authors emphasize the importance of this imaging method in cases where metastasis cannot be demonstrated by conventional methods, as it can influence treatment decisions.
