Abstrakt: This article explores the measurement uncertainty of HbA1c and glucose tests, which are used to diagnose diabetes. The study calculates the measurement uncertainties according to ISO/TS 20914 guidelines and analyzes the results retrospectively. The findings indicate that the measurement uncertainty values for these tests are generally within acceptable ranges, but it emphasizes the importance of considering measurement uncertainty in clinical decision-making for diabetes diagnosis and treatment. The article highlights the need for quality and reliability in test results and suggests that false negative and false positive results can still occur despite acceptable measurement uncertainty values.
