Abstrakt: This article explores the relationship between sarcopenia, depression, and insomnia in elderly patients. The study included 205 patients, with 23.4% diagnosed with sarcopenia. The results showed that sarcopenic patients had lower cognitive function and needed assistance in daily life. Additionally, depression and insomnia were more common in the sarcopenic group. The authors suggest that treating sarcopenia alongside depression and insomnia may be beneficial for elderly patients. However, the study has limitations and there may be other factors contributing to these mental health issues. [Extracted from the article]
