Abstrakt: In this research paper, confidence interval using maximum likelihood estimation is obtained for Poisson type Rayleigh class for the parameters. The failure intensity function, mean time to failure function and likelihood function for the parameter is derived. Confidence interval has been obtained for the parameters using maximum likelihood estimation. To study the performance of proposed Confidence interval, average length and coverage probability are calculated by using Monte Carlo simulation technique. From the obtained intervals, it is concluded that Confidence interval for the parameters perform better for appropriate choice of execution time and certain values of parameters.
