Sarcoidosis has diverse clinical presentations and limited treatment options, making it challenging to diagnose and manage. The foundation has launched the Ann Theodore Foundation Breakthrough Sarcoidosis Initiative (ATF-BSI) to support sarcoidosis research globally. Currently, ATF-BSI is funding 11 research projects focused on understanding the biology of sarcoidosis, developing clinical tools, and creating resources for the research community.
