A recent study conducted by researchers at Universidad Politecnica de Pachuca in Mexico has explored the use of gold nanoparticles loaded with doxorubicin, a drug commonly used in cancer treatment, for lung cancer therapy. The researchers aimed to develop a more effective treatment strategy that would minimize side effects and improve patient quality of life. By using green synthesis with Coffea arabica green bean extract, the researchers were able to create stable nanohybrids with a particle size less than 40 nm, resulting in greater specificity and cytotoxicity in lung cancer cells. This study provides valuable insights into the potential of gold nanoparticles as a targeted therapy for lung cancer. [Extracted from the article] |
