Abstrakt: | A study conducted at Hayatabad Medical Complex in Peshawar, Pakistan aimed to investigate the complications associated with pregnancies that extend beyond 40 weeks of gestation. The study included 390 patients with uncomplicated postdated pregnancies and found that the majority of patients were between the ages of 20 and 35. Most deliveries were vaginal, with a small percentage requiring a cesarean section. The study concluded that pregnancies continuing beyond 40 weeks pose a definite risk to the fetus.
