Abstrakt: A recent study conducted by researchers at Central University in Santa Clara, Cuba, has focused on the development of an affordable internet of things (IoT) monitoring system for tracking atmospheric pollutants and meteorological parameters in a tropical environment. The system combines a weather station with an air quality monitoring device equipped with gas sensors. The researchers utilized various technologies such as MQTT, Node-RED, InfluxDB, and Grafana to collect, process, and visualize the data. The study found that the IoT architecture was capable of processing measurements in tropical conditions and provided valuable insights into events of poorer air quality. [Extracted from the article]
