Abstrakt: A recent research report discusses the findings on T-cell lymphoma, specifically extranodal NK/T-cell lymphoma (ENKTCL). The study aimed to understand the genetic alterations and their functional roles in ENKTCL to improve patient stratification and treatments. The researchers conducted comprehensive genetic analysis on 177 ENKTCL cases and identified 34 driver genes, including six previously unappreciated ones. They also found that chromosome X losses were common in females, and alterations of X-linked driver genes were more frequent in males and females with chromosome X losses. The study's findings could potentially enhance diagnostic and therapeutic strategies for ENKTCL. [Extracted from the article]
