Seven new species of the genus Rhyparus Westwood, 1845 are described and illustrated: Rhyparus argopuroensis sp. nov. from Java Island, Rhyparus baliensis sp. nov. from Bali Island, Rhyparus borneensis sp. nov. from Borneo Island, Rhyparus garo sp. nov. from Meghalaya State (India), Rhyparus javanus sp. nov. from Java Island, Rhyparus kazirangensis sp. nov. from Assam State and Mizoram State (India) and Rhyparus obiensis sp. nov. from Obi Island. New distributional records for Rhyparus helophoroides Fairmaire, 1893 are given. Short discussions of correlations between species are given. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
