The mining and processing industry implies a reciprocal relationship between nature and society as well as between economy and ecology. In addition to extracting the useful mineral substance, the mining and processing industry also has the task of solving the complex problem of removing its negative effects on the environment. Solving this problem requires the collaboration of specialists from different fields: geology, geotechnics, mining, territorial planning, agronomy, forestry, sociology.
