A scoping review conducted by the Manipal Academy of Higher Education in Karnataka, India, explores the prevalence of stress among teachers and its impact on their psychological well-being. The review analyzed 60 studies and found that teachers experience stress due to factors such as workload, lack of support, and student behavior. The most commonly used interventions to reduce stress were coping strategies and mindfulness training. The findings of this review can help policymakers and school management identify stressors and implement interventions to improve the well-being of teachers and address issues like employee turnover and absenteeism.
