Researchers at Mudanjiang Medical University in China have conducted a study on the expression level and predictive value of the CLEC16A|miR-654-5p|RARA regulatory axis in the peripheral blood of patients with ischemic stroke. The study utilized bioinformatics analysis and real-time fluorescence quantitative qRT-PCR experiments to identify differentially expressed circRNAs, miRNAs, and mRNAs associated with ischemic stroke. The researchers constructed a circRNA-mediated competitive endogenous RNA (ceRNA) regulatory network and validated the CLEC16A|miR-654-5p|RARA axis as a key component of this network.
