A recent study conducted by researchers at Qazvin University of Medical Sciences examined the effects of an experimental combination of chitosan-bioactive glass (CH-BG) on the enamel of bleached teeth. The study found that the CH-BG compound was effective in remineralizing the enamel, comparable to the commonly used MI Paste. The research involved in vitro analysis of thirty human premolars that were bleached with hydrogen peroxide and then treated with different surface treatments. The findings suggest that CH-BG could be a potential alternative for enamel remineralization in bleached teeth. [Extracted from the article] |
