Success of Achieving Student Learning Objectives: Compressed vs. Traditional Courses.

Abstrakt: This article explores the effectiveness of compressed courses compared to traditional courses in achieving student learning objectives. The study found that there was no significant difference in final course grades between students in compressed courses and traditional courses. However, other factors such as course performance assessments and student grades on specific learning objectives should be considered when evaluating different course modalities. The article also discusses the advantages and disadvantages of compressed courses and compares student performance at different locations. It emphasizes the importance of student learning outcomes and performance assessments in determining if objectives were achieved. The study collected demographic data and qualitative responses from students, which showed that students had a moderate to high level of interest in the course and valued its relevance to their career goals.
