This article presents a study that examined the cardiovascular health of individuals who had recovered from COVID-19. The study found that these patients had increased arterial stiffness and vascular aging compared to a control group. The findings suggest that COVID-19 infection may have long-term effects on cardiovascular health, specifically leading to atherosclerosis.
